Payment Information
In the online store all prices are in Canadian dollars.

I accept payments via Paypal. If you have your own Paypal account then sending payment for your pots will be easy peasy. If you don’t have a Paypal account, not to worry, you can pay with your credit card or debit card without setting up a Paypal account. Just follow the step by step instructions after you’ve been directed to the Paypal website.

Payment should be made within 48 hours of purchasing. If your payment is not made within that time, the purchase will be canceled.

Shipping

I ship everything with Canada Post from Southern Ontario, Canada. I use the Regular Parcel option, which includes insurance of up to $100 for items sent within Canada.

Once you place your order I’ll let you know when it’s been shipped and the estimated arrival date. Shipping within Canada usually takes about a week or so. Packages shipped to the US or outside North America usually arrive in 3-4 weeks.

If you’d like to have your package arrive faster, or purchase extra insurance do let me know and I will get back to you with updated rates.

Damaged Items

Broken pottery is not a lovely package to receive, is it?

If your pots have arrived damaged or broken please let me know within two days of receiving the package. I will gladly send you replacement items or you can opt for a full refund (less the shipping costs). It would also be very helpful if you could take a photo of the box for me.

Please note, that if you opt for a replacement it may take a week or two for the replacement item to be made before it’s shipped.

Packaging
The environment is important to me and I have done a lot of research to find packaging materials that are environmentally friendly and suitable for shipping pottery.

The boxes are sturdy corrugated cardboard and are made with recycled content. I use packing peanuts that are made from corn and are biodegradable (they actually dissolve in water, try it out). I also wrap the pottery with bubble wrap (which you can re-use) and tissue paper (which is recyclable).

I’m trying to minimize the impact I have on the environment and I’m open to your suggestions. Please do get in touch if you know of better packaging options.

Care for your pots

Hand washing is the best of course, but if you have a dishwasher, why the heck would you hand wash anything? Mena Dragonfly pots can be put in the dishwasher and in the microwave. You can also put them inside an oven but please, please don’t put them on hot stove elements.

Hours of operation

In general I work sort of regular office hours. I can usually be reached 10:00am to 4:00pm EST Monday to Friday. I check my email throughout the day and I usually spend 3 days a week in the studio – so my hands are often covered in clay. Do send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
